District President ANP, Shot Dead in Peshawar

Peshawar (29th June, 2019): Local leader from Awami National Party (ANP) shot dead in Gulbahar area on Saturday.
According to Baaghi TV’s sources, a local leader, Sartaj Khan of the ANP has reportedly been shot dead on Saturday in the residential area of Gulbahar in Peshawar as confirmed by Police officials.
Police have claimed, that unidentified assailants opened fire on Khan’s car in Gulbahar, leaving the District President of ANP dead on the spot.
Moreover, as confirmed by the Assistant Superintendent Police (ASP) Gulbahar Ahmed Zunair, the vehicle was fired upon by a 30-bore pistol twice. Mohammad Asim, spokesperson for the Lady Reading Hosptal (LRH) stated that Khan had died by the time he reached the facility for treatment.
According to Baaghi TV’s sources, the spokesperson further stated that Sartaj Khan had received gunshot wounds on his face and chest.
