United States President, Donald Trump, faces major blow amid ongoing US presidential elections.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, former US President, Barak Obama had reportedly announced his support for the presidential candidate, Joe Biden. In a statement he said that Joe Biden possesses all the qualities required of a state head. He added, that such a candidate can keep the nation united in the darkest of times, and that choosing Biden in 2008 was one of his best decisions.
Candidate of the Democrat party, Bernie Sanders who had previously hoped to become a US presidential candidate, reportedly announced his withdrawal from the ongoing elections few days back. It is to be noted that following Sanders’ withdrawal, Joe Biden is set to lead the way for becoming a Democratic presidential candidate against the ruling President, Donald Trump for the November presidential elections.
In addition to the move to withdraw from the upcoming elections, Sanders has reportedly expressed best wishes for Joe Biden. Thereby, Donald Trump who is currently seeking a re-election is now set to contend against Joe Biden.
It should be noted, that US President Donald Trump in conversation with the media answered a question pertaining to the impact of the Coronavirus on the elections had said that while he does not know what will happen at the time of the elections, he is sure that the presidential elections will go on as scheduled. Voters have to come to the polling booth and vote because there are many problems with online voting.
