Baaghi TV: The number of deaths due to poisonous alcohol in Indian Punjab has risen to more than 80. Chief Minister Amrinder Singh has ordered an inquiry into the incident. The killings took place in a few days.
The killings took place in three districts of the northern state, according to the foreign news agency. Police have arrested 25 people in this connection. According to an official, 11 people were killed in Gordaspur district.
According to reports, 12 deaths have been reported in Amritsar and 63 in Tarn Taran district. Other deaths were also suspected in recent days but nothing could be proved in this regard as the bodies were not autopsied.
It should be noted that thousands of people die every year in India due to drinking poisonous alcohol.
