Security sources said the incident has sparked concern within the ranks of law enforcement, as the use of a quadcopter for such an attack marks a concerning escalation in militant tactics.

Following the assault, FC and local police jointly launched a large-scale search operation in the surrounding areas to trace and apprehend those involved. Security measures have been intensified across Bannu, particularly at key installations and sensitive locations, to thwart any further attacks.

Officials say the martyrdom of the FC soldier has deeply impacted fellow servicemen, who remain on high alert as investigations continue.
