Peshawar, Oct 14: A 5.8 magnitude earthquake jolted different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today morning.
Tremors of earthquake were felt in Peshawar, Charsada, Mardan, Lower Dir, Bannu, Malakand, Butt Khel, Chitral, Swat, Dir, Mansehra, and Balakot.
According to National Disaster Management No causalities or injuries have been reported so far.The base of earthquake was at a depth of 157 kilometre, Pakistan Meteorological Department officials said today morning in a statement.
Last week, A 5.2 magnitude earthquake jolts different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Tremors of that Earthquake were felt in Malakand, Swat, Peshawar, Battagram, Mansehra, Mardan and Balakot.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre and Meteorological department combine statement the epicentre of the earthquake was in Jurm district of northeastern Badakhshan province of Afghanistan.
