Earthquake of 4.2 magnitude hits Alwar; tremors felt in Delhi

An earthquake of medium intensity of magnitude 4.2 hit Rajasthan’s Alwar on Thursday, with its tremors being felt in Delhi-NCR, National Center for Seismology has said.

No damage has been reported so far. The epicentre of the earthquake was Alwar.

The tremors were felt in Gurgaon,  Delhi, Ghaziabad and Noida, according to Skymet Weather.

The earthquake of magnitude 4.2 occurred at 11.46 pm at a depth of five kilometres, NCS said.
