For the first time in history, February 5 was declared Kashmir Day in the US state of New York, according to Baaghi TV.
In this regard, a resolution was passed in the Legislative Assembly on the basis of majority vote.

A resolution was passed in New York to celebrate Kashmir American Day on February 5, 2021. The State Assembly and the Senate unanimously approved the resolution. Welcoming the passage of the Kashmir Day resolution, Asad Majeed, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, said that he was grateful to the members of the Assembly for passing the resolution.
