Islamabad, 13th October: Educational Institutes in the Capital city of Pakistan have been sealed.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, after the confirmed coronavirus cases in 4 more educational institutions of Islamabad, the schools have been ordered to close down.
DHO has issued letters to seal the educational institutions. 2 COVID-19 cases were reported in Islamabad Model College for Boys G-6/2, and 2 cases have been reported in G-11/3, 2 cases have been reported from a private school in Islamabad, F-8/1.
Two colleges and three schools in Islamabad were immediately sealed off. Two positive cases of COVID-19 were reported in the institute.
The buildings of educational institutions are currently sealed and are being disinfected. The ministry has also ordered tests for all students and staff at the institute. It also said institutions would remain closed indefinitely.
The number of coronavirus patients in different parts of the federal capital Islamabad is slowly increasing.
It should be noted that on the first day of the opening of the educational institution, an educational institution was sealed in the federal capital Islamabad. During the testing, 16 corona cases were reported in the institute. Contact tracing will continue for the prevention of corona.
The NCOC said that parents and teachers are requested to pay special attention to the following issues while sending their children to school.
They should send their children to school wearing masks even if it is a cloth mask. Never send children to school if they show symptoms of cough or illness. If the condition is worse, the child should be tested immediately. The school should be informed in case of a positive report.
The NCOC further states that maintain social distance between children. Make sure children wash their hands regularly or use a hand sanitizer. Drivers who take children to school or college should ensure social distance in their vehicles.
