According to the report of Baaghi TV, an incident of harassment of grade 17 female officers has come to light in Karachi.

The telephone numbers of 25 high-ranking female officers challenging out-of-turn illegal promotions have been exposed on unethical websites. The affected women officers reportedly wrote a letter to the Chief Secretary, Secretary Social Welfare and others informing them of the matter.

“We are receiving immoral videos from various countries,” the affected women officers said in a written complaint. We are being harassed in the same way on the WhatsApp groups. Our personal life is severely affected due to such videos and messages, and we are living in fear. Take note of this.

Confirming the incident, Nawaz Sheikh, Secretary, Sindh Social Welfare Department, said that the women had challenged illegal promotions in the social welfare department following which they are being harassed. Secretary, Sindh Social Welfare Department stated that the incident is a serious crime and he will take action against those involved. Relevant authorities will seek help from FIA Cyber ​​Crime and IG Sindh.

On the other hand, Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah, took notice of the issue of posting numbers of female officers of Social Welfare Department on immoral websites. Chief Secretary Sindh said that the matter should be investigated and a report should be submitted.
