The Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe monument and surrounding areas were evacuated following reports of a bomb in Paris, the capital of France.

According to British media, after receiving the report of the bomb, the police surrounded and evacuated the tourist area of ​​Paris.

According to the news agency, the police also found a bag full of weapons and bullets near the Eiffel Tower. In the pictures that appeared on social media, there are bullets and various weapons in a blue bag.

Police say the area has been cleared and the Eiffel Tower and the monumental Arc de Triomphe have been reopened and traffic has returned to normal.
