Islamabad February 19, 2021: There is a possibility of increase in electricity price. The price of electricity is likely to increase by 92 paisa per unit again. The Central Power Purchasing Agency has requested an increase of 92 paisa per unit in electricity prices.
Electricity prices will be increased in terms of monthly fuel adjustment. NEPRA will hear the price hike petition on February 25. An increase of 92 paisa per unit will impose an additional burden of more than Rs 9 billion on consumers.
