Karachi: According to the reports of Baaghi TV, K-Electric, a Karachi-based power supply company, says the city’s power outages have nothing to do with our infrastructure.

Heavy rains with thunderstorms were recorded in Karachi yesterday and the day after yesterday during the fourth spell of monsoon.

Meanwhile, power supply was suspended in most parts of the city, but seven people were killed in various incidents of electrocution.

In this regard, the spokesman of Electric said that the accidents due to electric shock are unfortunate and heartfelt sympathy is extended to the affected families.

The spokesman added that the incidents of electrocution were due to the use of canes. No accident has to do with K-Electric’s infrastructure.

A spokesman for K-Electric added that the electric shocks were caused by faulty internal wiring, accidents caused by illegal conduits and unsafe use of electrical appliances.
