Sindh government fails after rains in Karachi, Pak Army in action

Karachi: According to a report of Baaghi TV, after heavy rains in Karachi, the Pakistan Army has started rehabilitation work.

According to DG ISPR, rescue teams of Pakistan Army are engaged in the affected areas after the torrential rains in Karachi and rescue operations are underway with necessary safety equipment. The Pakistan Army is also draining water from low-lying areas while people trapped in the water are being shifted to safer places.

According to DG ISPR, Pakistan Army rescue teams are on alert to deal with any emergency situation.

It should be noted that intermittent heavy rains have been continuing in Karachi for the last 3 days due to which there is water on the roads of Shar-e-Quaid. As soon as it rains, most parts of Karachi lose power.

Rains in Karachi have once again made the lives of citizens miserable. Roads in most parts of Karachi were submerged in water. Provincial ministers also visited the affected areas last night. The faulty K-Electric system made the lives of the citizens miserable.

Roads of Korangi, Creek Road, North Nazimabad, KDA, Chowrangi and Nagan Chowrangi remained submerged in water, causing difficulties to the citizens. Many feeders have tripped. The lights have been missing for several hours in North Nazimabad, Lyari, Saddar, Malir and Korangi. Residents of Liaqatabad, Ancholi and Federal B Area are also in trouble.

At the direction of Sindh Chief Minister, members of the provincial cabinet visited different areas of the city last night. Murtaza Wahab reviewed the situation of water board pumping stations in Lyari, Clifton and other areas. Local Government Minister Nasir Shah, Saeed Ghani visited Liaquat National Hospital, surrounding areas and described the situation as satisfactory.

A spokesman for Electric said that power has been restored in FB Area and KDA Scheme 33, Model Colony, Gulistan-e-Jauhar 12, 13, Liaquatabad 2 and 3 as a precautionary measure. As soon as safety clearance is received, power will be restored to the affected areas

The Meteorological Department has forecast intermittent rains with thunderstorms in different cities of Sindh and Balochistan.
