It may be recalled that the worst announced and unannounced load shedding of 8 to 10 hours in Karachi has made the lives of the citizens miserable while the water crisis has also arisen due to power outage.

After this crisis, all other political parties in Sindh, including PTI, are demanding that K Electric be brought under the control of the federation and now this demand has intensified.

A few days ago, Prime Minister Imran Khan took notice of the load shedding in Karachi and directed K Electric to provide additional gas, after which the CNG stations were closed for two days due to the supply of additional gas to K Electric.
