Emirates resumes flight operations to/from Pakistan

Emirates resumed passenger service to Pakistan’s four main cities, Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Sialkot after a temporary suspension.

According to the details, passengers travelling from Pakistan to Dubai and beyond must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result certificate at the time of check-in.

“Emirates have put in place a comprehensive set of measures at every step of the customer journey on the ground and in the air, to minimize the risk of infection spread,” said the airline management.

CAA sabotaging Emirates, causing loss of millions

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 and grounding of operations, Emirates has previously operated only special flights to Pakistan to repatriate stranded people from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

However, from June 8, the Dubai-based airline announced the resumption of weekly scheduled passenger flights from Pakistan to Dubai. It is being resumed after over two months of travel restrictions imposed globally due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
