Employees protest, police official victim of shelling, dies
According to a Baaghi TV report, an officer shelled during the protest by employees in the federal capital Islamabad has passed away.
According to a spokesman for Islamabad Police, Ishtiaq Ahmed was shelled during a protest by government employees. Ishtiaq Ahmed had informed about the difficulty of breathing on the wireless at 7 pm last evening.

Ishtiaq died at the polyclinic hospital this morning. Ishtiaq Ahmed was posted as a sepoy in the Special Branch. Islamabad police officials have expressed sorrow over the death of the policeman and prayed for his forgiveness.
It should be noted that the highway of Islamabad remained a battlefield yesterday. Early in the morning, federal employees left work and reached D-Chowk to protest the demands. Police arrested the employees and started pelting stones. Police retaliated by shelling, injuring a government employee and leaving several others, including media workers, in critical condition.

Due to the protest, several highways in Islamabad were jammed with heavy traffic throughout the day, causing severe hardships to the citizens.
