Lahore, 25th May: Turkish drama serial Ertugrul Ghazi sets another record on Pakistani TV based on Islamic conquests even on the second day of Eid.
For many years, various dramas have been aired on channels with Urdu dubbing in Pakistan, but the popularity of the Turkish drama serial “Ertugrul Ghazi” based on Islamic conquests in the thirteenth century is unprecedented.
After being broadcast in many countries of the world, it is now being aired on Pakistan Television (PTV) from the 1st of Ramadan on the instructions of Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, and its season 1 is running on PTV while it has 5 seasons in total.
“Ertugrul Ghazi” is a masterpiece drama in terms of its story, preparation, and acting. Its production, its plot, and acting are all brilliant targeting the Mongols and the Crusaders.
This drama has captivated the people of Pakistan setting a new record with 4 million subscribers on YouTube on the occasion of Eid.
It should be noted that the story of the play ‘Dirilius Ertugrul’ pre-dates the establishment of the ‘Ottoman Empire’ in the 13th century and the main story of this play revolves around a brave Muslim general named ‘Ertugrul’.
The play shows how in the 13th century the Turkish general Ertugrul bravely fought the Mongols, the Crusaders, and the oppressors and maintained a series of victories.
