Ertugrul: Kopek’s look alike in our statesmen
19th June: Life is sometimes funny, we think that we know everything and that we have done all the homework in the best possible manner. But the irony is we don’t learn from history.
We are basically pure self-centered egoistic and full of pride people. History is filled with examples of such self-centered and opportunists who endangered the whole nation for their own interest.
May it is Mir Jaffer or Mir Saddiq they all were influential people regarded as one of the high-end ministers, so-called untouchables of the society. People used to regard them as their saviors, the brain, and somebody with high political vision. Nobody could question their intelligence and knowledge.
If we go through the pages of history we would always make an analysis that these people had extreme intelligence, they knew how to manipulate the circumstances and how to convince the supreme authorities.
Why is Ertugrul Trending #1 on Netflix?
A great comparison can be made between our current scenario, current history, and the drama shown ‘Ertugrul’.
In my opinion, why this drama Ertugrul is striking the cord with masses is it’s being easily relatable, simple, and eye-opening?
Characters like Kurdugolu, Emir Saadettin Kopek can easily be spotted among us but in reality, we fail to accept it. Its human nature to see things as a bird’s eye view and normally such black sheep sneak through the scanners.
Sushant Singh Suicide: Kangana Ranaut exposes blind items
The drama very rightly shows that the person who is right and who is trying to follow the straight path is always condemned, the opportunists who know the art of flattery and are kings of words do play around and come up on top of the things oppressing the masses.
In this article, I would like to compare Emir Saadettin with our current political elite. Like Kopek, our political elite always cries about the wrapping of the political system, the constitution is always in danger whenever being the topic of accountability comes up. The borders are turned hot when the ruling elite are endangered.
Why can’t we relate and accept the characters like Kopek, who are roaming freely, and if we don’t deal with them swiftly the whole nation would be in trouble?
Pandemic: A blessing in disguise
But we will oppose such ideas as we are a nieve nation and as a pigeon, we think that by closing our eyes the cat will not see us and the danger would be over.
Sometimes simple observations can lead to great achievements.
