Italy, Germany, France and Ireland have signed an agreement with pharmaceutical company Astrazeneca to develop a coronavirus vaccine.

Italy’s health minister says the agreement will ensure that the pharmaceutical company provides European citizens with a vaccine against the coronavirus.

The deal is for 400 million doses of the new vaccine. The vaccine will be developed in collaboration with University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. It is currently in the experimental stages and is expected to be ready by the end of autumn.
