The European Union (EU) has ruled to maintain the Generalised Scheme of Preferences Plus (GSP+) status of Pakistan.
According to the European Commission, consultations are underway between the European Union and the Pakistan Joint Commission. The current review does not address Pakistan individually. The European Commission says new terms for GSP+ have been discussed and six new conventions have been added to the new terms.
