Lahore October 09 (Online): Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar on Friday said that every plan of those creating political instability in the country will be thwarted.

He said this during his meeting with acting Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Mir Afzal and other delegations of PTI who called on him at Governor House, Lahore.

He said that the protests will not put the government under any pressure nor will it stop the process of indiscriminate accountability.

According to details, Acting Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Mir Afzal called on Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar at Governor House, Lahore on Friday in which issues including Gilgit-Baltistan elections were discussed.

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, PTI is using all its resources to make the people of Gilgit-Baltistan developed and prosperous and inshallah, the people of Gilgit-Baltistan will also show confidence in the policies of the PTI government.

Talking to party delegations, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that even the opponents of Prime Minister Imran Khan know that he does the politics of principles and ideology.

Prime Minister Imran Khan does not talk about personal interests but of national interests. In any case, he will not back down from the politics of principles and ideology.

He said that the people have voted for PTI for the elimination of corruption and to ensure transparent and impartial accountability in the country and we will not disappoint the nation on the issue of corruption and accountability

. Despite the threats of protests by the opposition, the accountability will continue until complete elimination of corruption.

Governor Punjab said that the people rejected the agenda of the opposition parties in the 2018 general elections and decided in favor of PTI and the people stand with the policies of the government led by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

 Imran Khan will fulfill his constitutional term as Prime Minister and so will the federal and provincial governments of PTI, he added.
