The Pakistani nation prides itself when it comes to composing patriotic songs to boost the morale and nationalism of the public.

On the occasion of Pakistan’s 73rd Independence Day, Baaghi TV has composed a list of songs to trace the evolution of music in Pakistan especially in the genre of “milli naghmey” [patriotic and nationalistic songs]. While the evolution in music style is not always appreciated, it is something that aids in bringing the younger generation closer to Pakistan because it serves the purpose of reminding them of the countless sacrifices made by our older generations especially ancestors we have never been able to meet.
