A blast happened in Sibi district of Balochistan on Wednesday; however, no casualties were reported. According to police officials, the blast took place behind the police ground in Sibi.

The nature of the blast could not be ascertained as yet. As soon as the blast was reported, a heavy contingent of forces reached the area and cordoned it off for preliminary investigation.

According to a statement from Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), five Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were killed in a terrorist attack in Sibi in June this year.

FC personnel stationed in the hilly area of ​​Sangan, between Sibi and Harnai districts, came under attack while patrolling the area last night. ISPR says terrorists targeted FC patrol vehicle.
