Factory in Lahore’s Walton Road area has reportedly caught on fire.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, in a matter of a few moments the fire engulfed everything. The fire brigade and rescue teams have arrived on the scene and working to put out the fire. However, latest reports confirm that the fire has not been brought under control as yet.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Moreover, firefighters have been called in from across the city to put out the blaze at the factory near Walton Junction on Ferozpur Road. While rescue teams are also on the scene, the extent of the financial loss caused to the factory by the fire can only be assessed after the fire is extinguished.

The fire broke out in the factory’s assembly line area, affecting more than an acre. More than 12 rescue vehicles are working to put out the fire in the factory. Rescue 1122 teams have left on the orders of Commissioner Lahore. Fire brigade, MCL, Civil Defense, Health and Revenue teams have also left. According to reports, Commissioner Lahore also ordered to keep the required machinery ready to put out the fire.
On the other hand, a fire broke out in a factory on Ferozepur Road, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar took notice. The Chief Minister directed Rescue 1122 and the concerned agencies to intensify the relief activities to control the fire and said that the administration should reach the spot and monitor the relief operations. Use all necessary resources to control the fire. The Chief Minister ordered an inquiry into the incident and the Chief Minister sought a report from the administration on the incident.
