Islamabad, 16th November: Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken notice of the Faizabad sit-in.

Baaghi TV: According to sources, the Prime Minister has immediately summoned Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri and will direct him to hold talks with the protesters.

Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri has arrived in Islamabad from Lahore.

Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) continues its sit-in at Faizabad. Chief Khadim Hussain Rizvi has joined the sit-in.

Reportedly, thousands of people are taking part in the sit-in. Their demands include the severance of diplomatic relations with France and the immediate deportation of the French ambassador. According to Labbaik officials, the sit-in will continue until the demands are approved.

It should be noted that Tehreek-e-Labbaik is marching in Islamabad. Thousands of people are participating in the march who reached Faizabad from Liaquat Bagh last night.

Police tried to stop the participants but could not succeed. Police fired tear gas and barricades were set up at various places but the protestors have reached Faizabad.

The head of Tehreek-e-Labbaik has arrived in the federal capital demanding the expulsion of the French ambassador and boycott of French products over the publication of blasphemous sketches in France.
