Fakhr-e-Alam, first Pakistani celebrity to receive Golden Visa from UAE

Lahore, 28th June: Famous singer, TV host and actor Fakhr-e-Alam is the first Pakistani celebrity to receive the 10-year Golden Visa by the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Fakhr-e-Alam has been living in the UAE for the last 17 years and is also a cultural ambassador to the country.  Hence, the UAE authorities granted him a 10-year Golden Visa.

Talking about the importance of the Golden Visa, Alam said that it would allow people to make UAE their home and they won’t be concerned about a visa change every three years.

Talking to Khaleej Times, Fakhr-e-Alam said that he feels absolutely happy about getting the Golden Visa. He thanked the UAE government for acknowledging his work.

The singer also took to his Twitter account and expressed, “Thank you @KhaleejTimes and thank you UAE. I am honored and humbled. Thank you for recognizing my body of work and for honoring me with this coveted GOLDEN VISA. I promise to make both UAE & Pakistan proud in whatever I do in life big or small. I will use a video message later.”

It is to be noted that in 2018 Fakhr-e-Alam successfully circumnavigated the globe in a single-pilot airplane. He carried the flags of both Pakistan and UAE on his aircraft and uniform.

Fakhr-e-Alam does most of his work traveling back and forth between Pakistan and UAE.
