Sherry Rehman corrected Fawad Chaudhry on Thursday by reminding him that Thai Airways has been operating in country for a decade.
According to reports of Baaghitv, on July 2, 2019 Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry tweeted, Thai Airways will start operation form Lahore to Bangkok and beyond from July 16 this year.
He was corrected Pakistan Peoples Party senior leader and Senator Sherry Rehman on Thursday through a tweet in which she said Thai Airways had already been operating from Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi for several times a week.
Following the closure of airspace by Pakistan in early February after the dogfight between Pakistan and India on sky of Kashmir, Thai Airways cancelled operation all over Pakistan.
Err, Thai Airways has been flying from Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi several times a week for over ten years. The Islamabad and Lahore flights were suspended due to closure of air space recently. Islamabad flights have still not resumed https://t.co/peA83IY745
