Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry is all praises for Rihanna’s bold stance
Lahore 3rd February: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry praised the American music icon, Rihanna, on Wednesday.
Baaghi TV: Fawad Chaudhry commended the US pop star Rihanna for speaking up about the protest of farmers in India.
Earlier, Baaghi TV reported that the pop star had tweeted on her official Twitter account about the ongoing farmers’ protest in India which have escalated in the last month.
Rihanna shared an article from CNN and wrote, “Why aren’t we talking about this?!”

Pakistan’s federal minister Fawad Chaudhry retweeted Rihanna’s post and praised the icon for her stance, saying that she has earned the respect of farmers across the world.

Earlier reports from Baaghi TV informed that the Indian actress Kangana Ranaut lambasted the US pop star and called her a fool.

It is to be noted that tens of thousands of farmers have camped out on the outskirts of New Delhi for more than two months, demanding the withdrawal of new agricultural laws that they say will benefit private buyers at the expense of growers.
The protests turned violent on Jan 26, when farmers broke into the historic Red Fort complex, with one protester killed and hundreds injured.
Talks between the government and the protest leaders have so far failed.
