Federal Minister issues orders to investigate billions of corruption
Lahore, 4th November: Federal Minister for Petroleum and Power Division Omar Ayub Khan has directed Secretary Power to investigate the corruption of Rs 80 billion.
Baaghi TV: The corruption was made in the funds of Nandipur Power Plant during the rule of the Muslim League which has been misused. Omar Ayub ordered to point out and clarify so that PSO fuel payment and fuel losses can be covered in the FIA case.
Federal Minister for Petroleum Omar Ayub Khan has also issued an information message in this regard on his official tweet.
It may be recalled that the Federal Minister for Petroleum has taken a clear stand on the Nandipur Power Plant from day one on the reckless wastage of funds from the national exchequer by the former governments, especially the former Muslim League regime.
In addition, he has announced in his statements to monitor funds in power sector projects that everyone has to account for every penny lost in the national fund.
