The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in an operation in the Defense area of ​​Karachi has arrested an accused involved in the illegal business of Hawala Hundi.

As per the sources’ reports, the FIA ​​conducted an operation in Defense Phase 2 extension in Karachi and arrested the accused involved in the illegal business of Hawala Hundi during the operation. The Director of the Agency, Amir Farooqi, stated:

“The raid was carried out by the FIA ​​Anti-Corruption Circle and more than PKR 60 million worth of currency was recovered during the operation.”
