US objects to reconciliation with TTP and Baloch militants

Washington: The United States (US) has objected to reconciliation with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and Baloch militants.

According to reports, the US Deputy Secretary of State has once again urged Pakistan to take action against all militant and terrorist groups without discrimination.

“We want to build a strong counter-terrorism partnership with Pakistan, but the United States wants them to take lasting action against all militant and terrorist groups without discrimination,” US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman said in a statement. “Both the United States and Pakistan have been badly affected by terrorism. We want to cooperate to eliminate all forms of global and regional terrorism threats.”

it should be noted that the US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman will arrive in Islamabad on October 7 on a 2-day visit to Pakistan. She will also be visiting India and Uzbekistan as part of her travels.
