According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir extended his heartfelt greetings to the Pakistani people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Naval Chief and Air Chief also congratulated the nation on the joyous occasion of Eid. The ISPR issued a statement that read, the Pakistan Armed Forces pray for lasting peace and prosperity in the country and pay tribute to the unwavering resolve of the Pakistani people.

According to the statement issued by ISPR, the Chiefs said that Eid-ul-Adha is a sacred occasion of sacrifice, unity and intellectual solidarity, and prayed that this day would promote social harmony and love. ISPR appreciated the sacrifices and bravery of the brave citizens of Pakistan and reiterated the resolve that the armed forces will stand by the nation to protect the sovereignty and integrity of the country.

Tributes were also paid to the families of Pakistan’s martyrs.
