ISLAMABAD – September 13, 2025: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on Thursday visited flood-affected areas in Kasur sector and Jalalpur Pirwala, Multan, where he reviewed ongoing rescue and relief operations.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief inspected arrangements at the Flood Relief Camp, met displaced families, and assured them of the military’s full cooperation in their rehabilitation.

Field Marshal Munir underlined that Pakistan cannot continue to suffer the loss of lives and property from floods every year. He emphasized that civil and military institutions must work hand in hand, alongside effective governance and people-focused development, to provide lasting solutions.
He further directed authorities to speed up protective infrastructure projects and disaster preparedness measures to shield communities from recurring floods in the future.
During his interactions with victims, Munir reiterated the Army’s commitment to stand by the people until full recovery and rehabilitation are achieved.
