Fine for not wearing Face Masks
Islamabad, 31st May: With the increasing number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan, the government has ordered issues to wear face masks for the people.
According to Baaghi TV, Section 144 has been enacted in Islamabad for not wearing a face mask in view of increasing cases of corona in the country.
Those who do not comply will be fined. This order is applicable for the mosques, bazaars, shopping malls, public transport, rail, and air travel. A notification was issued by the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad.
Due to the increasing cases of coronavirus in the country, it has been made mandatory to wear a face mask in Islamabad. Assistant Commissioners and Magistrates will take action against those who do not wear face masks.
Violators will be fined, magistrates will be able to impose fines of up to Rs 3,000. Those violating the order can be sent to jail under Section 188 of the Penal Code.
