Lahore, 18th May: Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi arrives at the Turkish Foreign Ministry in Ankara.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu welcomed Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Turkey.
The two Foreign Ministers discussed the law and order situation in Palestine.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut praised Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s speech at the OIC Executive Committee Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and Pakistan’s continued support for the oppressed Palestinians.
Foreign Minister praised Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish government’s firm and clear stance on the Palestinian issue.

“The whole Muslim Ummah is heartbroken by the Israeli attacks in Gaza and the continuation of violence in Palestine during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr,” said Shah Mehmood Qureshi
FM Qureshi added, “At the behest of Prime Minister Imran Khan, we are celebrating May 21 in Pakistan as ‘Palestine Solidarity Day’ to express solidarity with the Palestinian brothers.”
Both Foreign Ministers strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on unarmed Palestinians and the forced eviction of Palestinians.
The two foreign ministers have decided to speak out together at the United Nations against Israeli atrocities.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi reiterated that we will not leave Palestinian brothers alone.
It is to be mentioned that the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu hosted a luncheon in honor of Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi and his delegation.
