New Delhi: Leading Indian cricketer died after falling into a 250 feet deep ditch.

According to Indian media reports, Indian player Shekhar Goli, who was playing Ranji Trophy, lost his life after falling into a 250 feet deep ditch. He had gone trekking with friends.

The incident took place in Nashik district of the Indian state of Maharashtra. The 45-year-old Goli, who played two first-class matches, was a right-handed batsman and league spinner. ۔

According to police, Shekhar was shot in the ditch due to alleged imbalance. According to an officer of Agatpuri police station, his body was found at 10 am on Wednesday. The body has been handed over to his heirs after postmortem.

According to Indian media, Goli was earlier also the assistant coach of the Maharashtra cricket team and was currently working as a fitness trainer for the under-23 team.
