Former Minister Rana Sanaullah Gets Into Trouble Once Again...

A new contempt of court petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) against Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister of Punjab, Rana Sanaullah.

According to the details, a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member of National Assembly (MNA) Aliya Hamza Malik has filed a contempt of court petition against Rana Sanaullah. The petition contends that Rana Sanaullah on January 30, 2022, used insulting words against the judiciary and judges.

Aliya’s lawyer Waqar Mushtaq Toor mentioned that Rana Sanaullah has threatened to surround the judges and courts of the Lahore High Court (LHC) which is tantamount to contempt of court.

Referring to cases of Nihal Hashmi and Talal Chaudhry, the petitioner had requested the court to disqualify the PML-N senior leader as he violated his oath. The petitioner submitted that the former Punjab minister had threatened to siege the courts and judges of higher judiciary, a few days ago, and it was cantonment to contempt of the court.
