Former Pakistani Cricket Captain obliged by Dubai Govt.
Former captain of Pakistan cricket team and Sultan of swing Wasim Akram has been issued Golden Visa of Dubai.
According to reports Waseem Akram said, ‘It is an honor that the Dubai government has issued me a Golden Visa in recognition of my services to cricket’.
Wasim Akram further wrote in his social media post that Dubai is undoubtedly one of the best business hubs in the world, a holiday destination, and a city that connects the people of the world. Former Skipper also said that he would like to spend more time in Dubai.
it is pertinent to mention here that the Golden Visa was instituted by the UAE government in 2019 as a new system, which allowed investors (minimum of AED 10 million) and entrepreneurs, as well as professionals and specialized talents like in the field of science, knowledge, and sports.
