It should be noted that the court has summoned 5 new accused named in the LNG supplementary reference and summoned them on September 22. The court has also summoned Abdullah Khaqan, son of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, while issuing notices, today Abdullah Khaqan Abbasi was on his way to Dubai when he was stopped.

Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that baseless allegations are being leveled against me. The Prime Minister and Chairman NAB should prove a single allegation. We are neither afraid nor afraid of NAB. Everybody knows the reality of NAB. No inquiry has been held against any government official since, I am telling the truth whether to run NAB or run the country.

NAB Rawalpindi has filed reference in LNG case in Accountability Court Islamabad. The reference was filed against 9 accused including Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Muftah Ismail.

The reference said that a company was given a benefit of more than Rs 21 billion, the benefit was extended from March 2015 to September 2019. The benefit would be a loss of Rs 47 billion to the national exchequer by 2029. The burden will be more than Rs 68 billion, said former MD Sheikh Imranul Haq, who played a key role in the deal.

Former Finance Minister Muftah Ismail’s name is also included in the list of accused. According to NAB reference, former Secretary and MD Petroleum became important witnesses. The names of 9 accused including Shahid Khaqan are included in ECL. NAB is conducting separate inquiry into Rawalpindi-Qatar agreement.

It should be noted that the reference filed against Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was approved by Chairman NAB Justice R Javed Iqbal after which the reference was filed in the court.

It should be noted that Dr. Shahbaz Gul, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Political Relations, had revealed that the funds of Rs 637 million may have come in the account of Khaqan Abbasi and his son Abdullah Khaqan. They are singing the tune of political engineering. Those who take money from Indian companies consider accountability in their pockets. 637 million funds Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and your son Abdullah’s account of the thief instead of making a fuss, account for your looting.
