25th October 2020: France has taken a big step against the Turkish President Erdogan.

Baaghi TV: The move has come a day after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan criticized the French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.

A statement issued by the French presidency on Saturday night, October 24, stated that “this is not the right thing to do and that this kind of insult will not be tolerated.”

The statement added that Erdogan will have to reconsider his policy, which is dangerous in all respects.

President Recep Tayyip addressed a meeting of his party on Saturday and criticized the French policy against Islam.

Erdogan asked, “What about the head of state who discriminates against millions of citizens of his own country just because they have a different religion?” Is there a problem with Islam and Muslims?”

The Turkish president later said in a speech that the French president needed a “mental examination”.

Extensive counter-terrorism operations have been underway in France since the assassination of a teacher in the French capital, Paris.

Professor Samuel Petty showed his students controversial sketches of the Prophet of Islam, in response to which he was assassinated by an 18-year-old Chechen immigrant.

It is also important to note that both France and Turkey are members of the Western defence alliance, NATO, but there are sharp differences between them.
