Game Of Thrones star Diana Rigg dies at 82


11th September 2020: British actress Diana Rigg has died at the age of 82.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, the actress who starred in the famous series ‘Game Of Thrones’ and ‘Avengers’ has died yesterday at the age of 82.

Diana Rigg, the Tony and Emmy winner who got fame for her commanding role as an intelligence agent Emma Peel on ‘The Avengers’ in the 1960s and played Lady Olenna Tyrell on ‘Game of Thrones’ decades later, died Thursday at her home in England.

She also played Countess Teresa di Vicenzo, or Tracy Bond, James Bond’s first and only wife to date, in the 1969 film On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, according to The Guardian.

Confirming her death, her agent said that Rigg had died “peacefully” on Thursday morning, adding that she had been “at home with her family who has asked for privacy at this difficult time”.
