Gilgit, 15th November: PML-N has accused of rigging in the polling stations at Gilgit-Baltistan where elections are being held today.

Baaghi TV: PML-N leader Hina Pervaiz Butt has said in a tweet that voting is going on slowly. Niazi is repeating the rigging of 2018 here too.

1,160 polling stations have been set up in Gilgit-Baltistan, 7 lakh 45 thousand 361 voters will exercise their franchise and voting continues in 23 of the 24 constituencies.

In one constituency, the election will be held on November 23 due to the death of a candidate. Independent candidates are also strong in many constituencies while 4 women are in the fray.

Three hundred and eleven polling stations in Gilgit-Baltistan have been declared sensitive and 428 highly sensitive. Reportedly, tens of thousands of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and local police personnel are on duty under tight security arrangements, paramilitary forces are also on duty.

745,361 voters will exercise their franchise, including 455,350 men and 339,992 women, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Muslim League N (PML-N).
