Vice-Chancellor GCWUF (Government College Women University Faisalabad), Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, has rejected claims that a student was allegedly sexually abused and murdered by teachers and faculty members as per a report of The Buraaq Times.
According to student testimonies shared with The Buraaq Times, the victim was discovered lifeless, naked, and covered in blood near a staircase. The post-mortem report has shown the student was raped by six men. The report has argued that the university administration is working to conceal the news. The Vice-Chancellor (VC), Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, has allegedly paid off the police from investigating in the hopes of saving the university’s reputation. There are reports that Prof. Dr. Nazli of the GCWUF has a personal connection with a past rape case in which her son was involved, in 2019. To this date, her son attends the university.

Meanwhile, senior students have claimed such incidents happen almost every year. A faculty member believed to have been involved in the murder and abuse case is continuing to attend the university with no consequences, the report added.
Sharing the news on their Instagram profile, The Buraaq Times wrote: “We are looking forward to the confirmation. We’ve shared the news as per the continuous insisting by students who’ve kept sharing and emphasizing this over our IG handle”. They have argued that despite the incident being a few days old, it remains undisclosed.
