Lahore, 11th March: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to hold the rest of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 matches in June.

Baaghi TV: According to reports, PCB has decided to hold the sixth edition of PSL matches in June.

However, Lahore will not host any of the matches as the PCB officials and PSL franchise owners unanimously agreed the remaining matches would take place in Karachi.

The event had to be postponed by the cricket board after the coronavirus tests of several players in the Pakistan Super League matches came positive.

During a meeting of the Pakistan Cricket Board on Thursday, it was decided that the postponed matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) would be held in June.

According to the PCB, due to the international engagements of the national cricket team in May / April and August / September, the June window has been declared the most suitable for the event.

The remaining 20 matches of the event will now be scheduled in time between the national cricket team’s return from Zimbabwe on May 13 and departure to England on June 26.

Franchise sources say they are reviewing the availability of all foreign players.

As per sources,  PCB has now decided to outsource the management of its biosecure bubble for the remaining games of the PSL.
