RAWALPINDI: According to reports of Baaghi TV, Garden Town police have arrested a girl named Neha, on the orders of a court, who got married after changing her gender. Police officials say Neha will be produced in court in the morning.
In Rawalpindi, one of the two girlfriends changed her gender and got married, to which the father of a girl named Neha approached the court. The court directed CCPO Lahore to produce the girl before the court on which Garden Town Police arrested Neha.
Police officials said that the Rawalpindi High Court had issued orders to produce Neha in court, so Neha will be produced in court in the morning.
Earlier, the groom Asma Ali alias Akash Ali divorced his wife Neha instead of undergoing a medical test. Neha’s father had approached the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi bench on the issue of marriage of a girl to a girl in Rawalpindi.
The groom Akash Ali, alias Asma Ali, had taken a stand in the court that he has become a man by changing his gender. When a medical test was ordered by the court, Akash Ali refused to undergo the test saying that he had become COVID-19 positive.
The court gave Asma Ali more time to test him, so he divorced his wife Neha Ali to comply with the court order.
