Girl Kidnapped on Gunpoint

SARGODHA, July 24 (Online Int’l): A girl was kidnapped at gunpoint in Sargodha. Sources say that despite three days having gone by after her kidnapping the local police could not get any clue of the missing girl.
According to media reports, the 13-year-old girl identified as Farhat Shaheen was kidnapped from Chak-137 Tehsil Sillanwali Sargodha. The girl’s parents suspect that a local man identified as Saif kidnapped her some two weeks ago.
The police have not been able to recover the girl till now, even after filing of the case. The girl’s parents appealed to CM Usman Buzdar to take notice in this regard and direct the local police to recover their daughter from the kidnapper’s custody.
The area numberdar is disrupting the process of achieving justice since the last 2 weeks and the police of police station Sillanwali is avoiding taking action against the influential suspect. The Numberdar named Raja Arif is backing the suspect. The police said that after filing the case, they are trying to arrest the suspect and to recover the girl. The suspect will be arrested soon and the girl will be recovered, they say.
