Good news for Corona patients in hospitals

Lahore, 7th July: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has updated the information about the facilities provided to the coronavirus patients in the hospitals amid the pandemic.

The NDMA was informed about the need for 2,150 oxygen beds for coronavirus patients across the country. The NDMA inspected the hospitals and started work on installing 2,500 oxygen beds.

The spokesperson NDMA informed that the project includes the supply of ICU beds, oxygen piping, and cylinders. The project also includes the provision of ventilators, biopsies, nose candles, and pulse oximeters for these beds.

Accor to the spokesperson NDMA, the installation of 2,500 oxygen beds will be completed in two phases.

In the first phase, the installation of 1,434 oxygen beds with all facilities has been completed by July 5. In the second phase, an additional 1,066 oxygen beds will be installed by July 31.
