Good News for Pakistanis: Corona Vaccine Agreement Reached with China
Karachi: Great news for Pakistanis Agreement reached with China for corona vaccine. According to reports, well-known scientist Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman has said that the situation regarding corona in Pakistan is better. If the precautionary measures remain the same, we will control corona in 2-3 months.
Speaking on private TV program Eleventh Hour, he said that an agreement has been reached in Pakistan with a Chinese company related to Corona vaccine. DRAP has been informed about the agreement which is awaiting approval. As soon as approval is given, clinical trial will be started in Pakistan. Vaccine preparation will begin after the clinical trial.
Dr. Ata-ur-Rehman said that Phase-II of the vaccine has been completed in China, Phase-III remains to be done, while Phase-II will start in Pakistan after the approval of DRAP. The vaccine will be available in Pakistan and China in 6 to 8 months after the completion of the phase and hopefully if the trial is successful, the vaccine will be available in Pakistan in 6, 8 months.
He said that the policies and measures taken by the government to deal with Corona were correct and added that the situation in Corona was better in Pakistan. The government’s smart lockdown policy is succeeding. Corona cases are declining due to smart lockdown. The government’s policy against Corona is moving in the right direction.
Dr Atta-ur-Rehman warned that if carelessness was done on Eid, the corona virus would spread again. Extreme care needs to be taken during Eid, the use of masks should be mandatory. Everyone will be safe from corona. If the precautionary measures remain the same, we will control corona in 2-3 months.
