New Delhi: India will invest 10 billion to strengthen its grip on Google. According to reports, Google’s chief executive Sundar Pichai has announced in India.

Google’s chief executive officer met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday to discuss various issues.

Addressing the sixth edition of Google for India, Modi said that Google would invest 10 billion (INR 75,000 crore) in India in the next 5 to 7 years.

“We will do so with the help of equity investments, partnerships, operations infrastructure and investments in the ecosystem,” he said.

Meanwhile, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on social networking site Twitter that this morning our meeting with Sundar Pichai was very good. We discussed various topics, especially the use of the power of technology to transform the lives of Indian farmers, youth and business people.

“During our conversation, Sundar Pichai and I discussed the new culture born of the corona virus,” he said. We discussed the challenges facing the industry such as sports due to Corona, while we also discussed data security and cyber security.

The Indian Prime Minister said he was pleased to learn about Google’s efforts in various fields, including education and digital payments.

In response, Sundar Pichai also tweeted that the Prime Minister, thank you for your time, I am very optimistic about your vision of Digital India and I am determined to work in this regard.
