“Tax collection is not the prerogative of CDA, Metropolitan Corporation should collect it”, Court said.

According to reports, Islamabad High Court has declared CDA’s property tax collection illegal. CDA has reportedly been ordered to conduct an audit of its property tax receipts since 2015. Moreover, CDA authorities have been ordered to transfer property tax amount to local government fund.
